Greetings everyone! I know it’s been awhile, but this pandemic has really put a damper on appearances and all the fun things in life, like wine tasting, travel, and concerts. I miss them all. But luckily, life is beginning again, and I’m out to grab it all. So, here is my first exciting news of the year.
I’ll be making an appearance, presenting a talk, and leading a paranormal investigation at the Winchester Mystery House all in a few weeks. It all starts at the Holiday Inn off of First St. in San Jose at the Mystical Minds Convention. This was an event that got cancelled way back in March 2020. So, I’m really excited to finally be able to appear and be a part of it. I’ll be giving a talk on Saturday, Feb. 19th about “Basics of Ghost Hunting Equipment”, costs, how to find, and basic use and even maybe some swapping of tales of investigating. I’ll be showing/playing some evidence I’ve gathered on the Queen Mary, a haunted shop in Soquel, CA, and in Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum.
I’ll also be at a table selling and signing my paranormal romances during both Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday, I’ll be appearing on the spirit communication panel to answer your questions and discuss with other experts on that subject.
Saturday Night I’ll be leading an investigation at the Winchester Mystery House on a Flashlight Tour at 10pm. There is a limit of up to 10 people at that time. So, tickets may go quickly. You’ll need to bring your own investigation equipment if you wish to use it. But of course, you can just come along if you want to tour or even just get impressions. It’s a self-guided tour too. For more information, I’ve made up a page here for you to check out.
I also have an upcoming release soon. “Taking On Vegas” is ready for release, and I’ll be having some celebratory events on-line in just a few days. I’ll post the information when it is available. So, stay tuned for that.
Meanwhile, stay safe, and hopefully I will see you soon at MMC or even online celebrating the release of my new novella. It’s been a long and hard two years. Things can only get better.
Take care and stay safe, wear a mask,
Marilyn Vix
