Marilyn Vix is available to speak for conference panels, book stores, and book clubs. She has experience with speaking at several book stores and a conference panel over the last few years. She has been an elementary school teacher for 18 years. She has been writing romance for over 10 years and children’s books for over 15 years.

Marilyn can give talks on how to write romance and how to self-publish in the 21st century. She can also discuss the ups and downs of writing children’s books. She has vast experience in promoting. She can do a talk on how to promote your book with an emphasis on romance and children’s books. She has run several blog tours for her pen names over the years, and several multi-author promo events. She also recently just presented for the Golden State Romance Writers in January 2025 on “Setting Your Writing Goals”.
Plus, Marilyn has a couple of talks on her experiences in regards to ghost hunting. She has a full presentation on starting out as a ghost hunter, with a run-down on how to get your ghost equipment. Also, she has a new presentation on how to find haunted locations after acquiring your equipment.

Join in an interactive workshop where you will create writing goal(s) for 2025 and put it through the S.M.A.R.T. criteria to refine it. Tiffany Turner will go over the S.M.A.R.T. Criteria of Goal Setting with an emphasis for setting writing goals. Start 2025 with a goal that you feel confident will be achievable for the year and a timeline to help you start tomorrow.
