Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope you are having a very happy Christmas with your family and friends soon. As we all bustle about and prepare for this chaotic time of year, it’s also a great time to reflect on what has gone on. And I guess, I’m no different. It has been an incredible and busy year for me. I have done a second season of my Ghost Tours in my new home town of Calistoga. I worked awfully hard to complete the Kpop romance, “Love Over Kpop” on Radish Fiction. Then, created a new edition on another platform, Tapas, because of the inevitable closure of Radish Fiction on Dec. 31, 2025. I even managed to write a 10-Minute play and have it chosen for a local play festival. It is called “Meet in the Park”, and it was performed by UpStage Napa Valley in October under my other pen name, Tiffany Turner.
So, like I said. Pretty busy. But it was great to have all this activity after the pandemic lock-downs and the writers block I was experiencing. Just looking back at the last 5 years, I marvel at the amount of turmoil that has been met and fought through. Moving to a new small town, surviving the pandemic, and in the end, still write under my children’s pen name and as Marilyn, it’s been a lot. But it is also hardening, as an Indie author, to just see that not giving up, just to keep going, still focusing on being creative, has such dividends. Just keep writing!
For those that have stuck with me and encouraged me with comments, thank you so much. I read it all. And having readers like you, keep me going. As I look towards 2026, I have more episodes scheduled for the Tapas edition of “Love Over Kpop”. If you haven’t had a chance to read it, it is available on Tapas after Radish Fiction closes. If you have an account, please feel free to subscribe to the story to get updates. Also, any likes and comments would be appreciated. I’d love to hear from you on the Tapas app. If you want to check it out, it’s at: https://tapas.io/series/Love-Over-Kpop/info. Plus, if you don’t have an account, it’s easy to sign up.
I have been subscribed to a few stories myself, and have enjoyed the regular escape on my phone whether I’m waiting in the dentist office (had to get a crown replaced) or traveling for the holidays, it’s a nice reading app to use during this busy time when you just want to grab a quick read. Besides, serial novels are great ways to enjoy several stories, just like you would on Netflix or other streaming services, while expanding your imagination and mind by reading. It’s a win-win.
So, I wish you the best for next year. May peace and love infleunce your life next year, and may many blessings come your way for your dreams and ambitions. May your family and friends surround you with the support to create and make your goals come true.
Many happy returns! God bless and take care. Thank you for all the support through the years. 2026 is going to be another great year.
